Your contributions are tax deductible. If you are interested in making a donation to The Spokes Group, you can contribute on-line at www.thespokesgroup.com, or make a check payable to The Spokes Group. Checks can be sent to me at:

Katrina Relief
At our September meeting, through individual contributions, a $1,000 match from Elkin & Associates, and a $1,000 match from CAHU, we raised $5,137 for the Katrina relief efforts. We also delivered many emergency supplies to the Coliseum for the displaced evacuees. Big thanks to all our members and guests who contributed! |

March Forth with Hope Foundation Golf Tournament 2005
This year our golf tournament benefited the March Forth with Hope Foundation, donating $10,807.00. The MFWHF was established in memory of Hope Stout, daughter of Shelby and Stuart Stout. Stuart is a member of our association, so this Foundation is especially meaningful to us. During her battle with cancer, Hope was very concerned about the children whose parents could not be with them for much of the time due to financial reasons - they simply could not afford to take that much time from work. Bills had to be paid; families had to be supported. The purpose of the Foundation is to assist these families of terminally ill hildren so that parents can spend more time with their sick child during this critical time in their lives. |
